박성환 Sung Hwan Bobby Park

박성환 Sung Hwan Bobby Park explores queer identity and diasporic experience through ceramics, installation, performance, and photography. In 2023, he was a recipient of a Springboard Award from the Arts Foundation Te Tumu Toi, a runner-up in the National Contemporary Art Award administered by Te Whare Taonga o Waikato Museum & Gallery, and a finalist in the Portage Ceramic Awards. His work has been presented in significant solo and group exhibitions, including BTM: Assembly at Objectspace, BTM: Season at Season, and Aotearoa Contemporary at Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki. In 2024, he undertook a residency at the Tom of Finland Foundation in Los Angeles. His major light-based public sculpture, BTM DoGGebi 2025, was unveiled in 2026 on Cross Street in Tāmaki Makaurau, near Karanga-a-Hape Station.
