Hold brings together new rings by Karl Fritsch and ceramic works by Jaime Jenkins in a rich exploration of form, touch, and exchange.
Artist-initiated, the exhibition builds on previous projects involving Fritsch and Jenkins and reflects their shared interest in collaboration as a generative force—an opportunity to create new personal and aesthetic relationships and open up fresh readings. Rings and ceramics exist here in a mutually nourishing relationship of support: holding and being held. Drawing inspiration from both the natural world and human-made forms, the artists create objects that enchant and surprise, uncovering nuggets of promise and wonder in a world that often feels beleaguered.
